Symmetry

One of my eyebrows is longer than the other. The left eyebrow (my left) is better shaped and longer. The right eyebrow refuses to grow out longer (as in, toward the direction of my ears) even though it will grow in every other way. I should just shorten the other one so that they'll match, but I don't. I can't bring myself to maim my one truly fabulous eyebrow.

My sister "shaped" my eyebrows the summer after my sophomore year of high school. Then, in my zeal, I pretty much overplucked them until my junior year in college when I was living with some cosmetic-savvy girls in the Colony. I overheard my roommate, Katherine, telling my roommate, Shelbys that she (S) just need to let her eyebrows grow in a little more then she (K) could shape them. I thought to myself: let them grow in? I studied my own caterpillars in the mirror. I little extra growth could be good. The thing was, my brows were plucked too far in--er... like, the space between them was too wide. I looked... faintly plastic-y and maybe a little strained. I let them flourish. It was a good choice. But they're still uneven. And probably always will be.

Eyebrows I admire:

1. Audrey Hepburn
2. Cassie S. (girl in my writing fiction class)
3. Keira Knightley
4. Elizabeth Taylor
5. My mom's

Eyebrows I do not admire:

1. Amanda H. (girl from my high school)
2. My grandma (she had them tattooed on)
3. Zachary Quinto
4. Peter Gallagher
5. Joan Rivers (post face lift)

I was hoping you would thin my eyebrows. BTW the boy is one I kind of have a crush on. He's in my FHE group. We're going to cook meat. Its not a date. But it will lead to one. Jaja!

I have a similar hate/hate relationship with my eyebrows. Lately I've been obsessing of how to make all of the hair comb in the same direction. It seems pretty impossible. I'm always staring at people's brows and complimenting them. People are kind of weird about being complimented on their eyebrows.
Oh, and your brother post SO makes me wish I had an older brother. That was my life long dream. Hmph.

I don't know that I've tried to get my eyebrow hairs to all go in the same direction, but I've definitely thought about trimming them. The hairs themselves seem to get so long... But I don't want to look like I buzzed them either. Ah well.

Old brothers are good. Order one express if at all possible.

If you go to get a wax (I only just did it for the first time recently) they also trim them (at least they trimmed mine) which definitely seemed scary since I wasn't expecting it. I almost thought I was going to come out of it with a bald spot in my eyebrow. It looked okay though.

p.s. kylene at nordstrom does an awesome eyebrow job. it's $30 but it's like a full haircut--shape, trim, pluck, wax. i only went to her once and i just pluck around to keep the original shape. i still have her number though, if you want it.

Yes. I notice eye brows and teeth. I can always identify people by their teeth.

I may take you up on that number. I kind of want an eyebrow consultation, because I'm not sure they (my eyebrows) should go any smaller than they already are. But maybe I need to let them grow more and then get re-shaped.
